Brief
The motion studio Dallas Sthlm had a problem. While creating a fabulous and colourful anniversary reel for EQT Ventures, they ran out of Q's! They needed more diversity and the mission was simple: Think "colourful, sparkling and audacious” and be the mad scientist that every motion designer secretly wishes to be.
Solution
Experimenting with cloning, randomness, audio and more, six new Q's were born. Using both 2D and 3D techniques, different levels of detail were achieved to give the reel more texture, expanding the EQT Ventures universe. Once delivered to Dallas Sthlm, the new Q’s were integrated into the final reel.

An audio recording of my own voice saying “Q” was connected to the visuals, triggering the motion of the waveform.
